PURPOSE CHANGES EVERYTHING
Gemini is a general-purpose AI platform. Genesis is built around talking to characters in games.

A FEW THINGS, BEFORE YOU GO
Los Santos Alive is the first flagship integration. Genesis connects to products and mods that explicitly support it; a Genesis key is not a universal replacement for every provider key.
Genesis uses prepaid credit for AI usage, starting at $10. Your mode, route, conversation length and workload affect how far your balance goes. A supported mod or product may have its own access requirements.
For Genesis usage, your supported mod connects with one Genesis key. Genesis handles the provider routing behind it, so you don’t have to manage each route yourself.
Backend-only improvements can happen behind the same key. Mod features and integration changes may still need a mod update, but a better route or a backend AI upgrade doesn’t have to mean starting again.
The figures are approximate results from Genesis’ own testing against comparable Gemini NPC usage. Cost, speed and playtime vary with configuration and workload. The latency animation and route switcher explain the concepts; they aren’t live measurements. Read the full comparison notes.
